Club games played inside a FIBA window decide who a national team can pick, because the NBA and the EuroLeague do not release players for the qualifiers. A round counts when any of its days falls in the window; NBA and WNBA games are counted from ESPN's schedule.

Sources and method

Every block comes from an English Wikipedia season article or, for the NBA and WNBA seasons, ESPN's season calendar, refreshed once a week. The FIBA windows are the qualifier windows of the 2027 World Cup, read from the qualification article, and are the shaded bands.

A league season is one block, or two where the source dates the play-offs apart, drawn in pieces where the EuroLeague or the EuroCup pauses, so a break shows as a gap. Dashed blocks are a usual window worked out from the two latest earlier seasons, not confirmed dates. Where a source gives a league season's end only as a month, the block runs to the end of that month. A phase whose end no source gives is left off.

Men's continental championships fall in 2025 and 2029, outside this view, and the 3x3 game and the 2028 Olympics are not drawn.
