1910 South African General Election
First Union election15 September 1910 · The Union's whites-only parliament · 121 seats, 61 for a majority
The elections were held alongside the first election to the provincial councils of Cape Province and Transvaal. Those councils used the same electoral districts as those for the House of Assembly seats in the province.
Held under a franchise restricted by race: the overwhelming majority of South Africans could not vote. Recorded here as history, with that exclusion stated plainly.
