2019 Thai General Election 24 March 2019 · The junta's constitution · 500 seats, 251 for a majority
Pheu Thai Party finished first with 136 of 500 seats on 21.9% of the vote. Turnout 74.7%. Prayut Chan-o-cha stayed in office.
The 250-seat Senate that would help choose the prime minister was appointed entirely by the outgoing junta and constituency boundaries were redrawn shortly before polling, an arrangement widely described at the time as a skewed race.
