National Liberal Party finished first with 227 of 369 seats on 53.9% of the vote. Ion I. C. Brătianu stayed in office.

Governments were organised by whoever held the interior ministry at the time; the 1922 article's own account describes army officers campaigning inside polling stations for the ruling party.
