Romanian National Party finished first with 169 of 568 seats. Alexandru Vaida-Voevod replaced Artur Văitoianu.

Governments were organised by whoever held the interior ministry at the time; the 1922 article's own account describes army officers campaigning inside polling stations for the ruling party.
