2012 South Korean Presidential Election

Presidential elections were held in South Korea on 19 December 2012. They were the sixth presidential elections since democratisation and the establishment of the Sixth Republic, and were held under a first-past-the-post system, in which there was a single round of voting and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes was elected.
