Presidential elections were held in Iraq on 24 July 2014 to elect the President of Iraq for a four-year term via indirect suffrage by the Council of Representatives. The result was a win for Fuad Masum, who received 211 votes.
An indirect vote of the Council of Representatives; the presidency is largely ceremonial and by convention held by a Kurd.
