1905 Cuban Legislative Election

1 December 1905 · The young republic · 32 seats

Moderate Party finished first with 31 of 32 seats. Tomás Estrada Palma stayed in office.

A US peace commission later found the vote so tainted by fraud that it suspended the Congress the election had produced; a Cuban minister told American commissioners it was impossible to hold an election in Cuba without fraud.
