2026 · Recanati family · 29% · EurohoopsRight of first refusal exercised, lifting the Recanati family to 58% (Globes, 7 Jul 2026). Eurohoops puts the deal's valuation at almost $180m. Why it is +456% against the board: the board figure is our rough estimate (a EUR 19m budget times an untested 1.5 multiple, low confidence), not a market valuation, so the deal is the better guide to the club's value. A resale of the same 29% to Jason Levien is in arbitration (Calcalist, 9 Sep 2026).

Fund portfolios

Each fund's stakes, from this ledger and the owners board; tap a fund for its holdings.

How this is measured

A fund holds a team here only when a sourced deal above names it as the buyer, or the team’s row on The Owners names it as owner, co-controller or minority holder. A fund only mentioned in passing (in talks, a past lender) is not listed, and an owners row without a source is skipped.

Invested is the sum of disclosed prices, in US dollars, of deals the fund made alone. A deal made with partners (a consortium, a group led by someone else) is left out of the total because the price is not the fund’s alone, and its stake shows as “group”. A stake recorded against a parent company (Silver Lake’s 18% of City Football Group) is shown in the owners board’s own words, not as a stake in the club.

Implied 100% sums the whole-club values the fund’s own deals imply (minority prices carry no control premium); Board value sums the teams’ current figures on the valuations board, which each link to.

How this is measured

One row per transaction. The implied 100% value is the price divided by the stake bought, for a plain equity purchase. Where the price or the stake was not disclosed, the row shows the valuation the source itself reported, marked rep. A loan taken over, a debt-for-equity swap or a credit-and-equity package is not divided by its stake, because the result would be meaningless.

A minority price (marked min) carries no control premium, and buyers of small stakes often get preferred terms, so it is not what the whole club would sell for. Some reported values include club debt (enterprise value); the hover text says which.

Prices are in the deal currency. US dollars use the rate the original source or our valuation research recorded for that date; a deal with no recorded rate shows its own currency. “vs board now” compares the implied value with the team’s current figure on the valuations board, and is left blank when that figure comes from the same deal.

Every row links its published source. Structures recorded so far: equity, debt, equity + credit. No revenue share or non-dilutive deal is sourced yet; the structure column is ready for them.
