How this works
Each scene is locked to its date: the character's fact card is drawn from this site's dated data and carries nothing later, a linter rewinds replies that slip out of period, and anything after the scene's date is speculation by design. When you see "he caught himself", that is the linter catching a reply mid-flow and making him start again. The "today" local knows recent events only as far as the site's data reaches. Your passphrase is stored on this device only; conversations stay in this browser tab and are not saved to the server. Conversations may be logged without content (sizes and timings only) to keep the beta healthy. Please report anything odd or unpleasant.
