Culture Capital

Metros whose combined cultural composite (cultural events, museums and landmarks, luxury hospitality) clears 30. London leads on every component; Paris and New York follow. The list also surfaces the unexpected (Macau, Dubai-Sharjah) where the cultural infrastructure is the product of recent and deliberate investment. To prevent the badge from over-rewarding wealthy regions, each of the 11 world regions also contributes its top three metros by culture score, even if those metros fall below the threshold. The result is roughly 90 entries, with the long tail capturing the editorially-strongest cultural metro in each region rather than only the global elite.
